Barr-Nunn holds Driver Appreciation events in April

Granger, IA – April 11, 2008 – Barr-Nunn Transportation has recognized for the work put forth by their drivers in making them an award-winning nation-wide industry leader. To show their appreciation and offer a "thank you" to those drivers, Barr-Nunn recently held two Driver Appreciation events to celebrate the men and women who power their success.

At their Manchester, PA terminal on April 2nd and the next day at their terminal in Washington Court House, OH, attendees of the events all received a free lunch and Barr-Nunn's gratitude. But the events go much farther than the meals, allowing drivers the chance to interact with other members of the company to ensure their needs are being met and provide feedback on how they can be a better company.

"These appreciation events are important because we have to get out and talk to our drivers," said Jay Shiek, Barr-Nunn's Director of Operations. "We talk about their concerns, freight updates, and the industry as a whole."
