Barr-Nunn Raises Pay in the Northeast

Granger, IA - Barr-Nunn Transportation, a transportation industry leader, is proud to announce an increase in starting pay for it's Northeast Regional Drivers.

Effective March 15, 2010 mileage based Company Drivers running in Barr-Nunn's Northeast Regional Fleet will be pleased to know that Barr-Nunn is offering them a raise. New Company drivers in this fleet and those hired after January 1, 2009 will see their base pay lifted $.02 per mile on loaded and empty miles.

Company drivers with hazmat endorsement and 5 years OTR experience will now be starting at $.45 per Practical mile, while Owner Operators with the endorsement will start at $.97 per Practical mile.


With the addition of Barr-Nunn's "Band Pay" Barr-Nunn Company Northeast Regional Drivers can earn over $0.55 per mile on loaded miles and Owner Operators can earn $1.27 per mile all the way up to $1.97 per mile.


This raise comes in addition to the other benefits and driver-friendly programs Barr-Nunn offers, including a 401(k) program which begins from Day 1, raises of $.005 for every 60,000 safe paid miles, and Appreciation and Performance bonuses, amongst others.
