Koch Trucking Minneapolis Announces OO and Company Driver Pay Increase

Koch Trucking Announces Owner Operator and Company Driver Compensation Increase
Minneapolis, MN, July 18, 2010 —Koch Companies, a full-service transportation and shipping company based out of Minneapolis, has been a nationally renowned, quality service provider and leader for more than 50 years. Koch announced Wednesday that its Koch Trucking division will be seeing an increase to the compensation package currently offered to its contractors and company drivers, effective August 1, 2010.
This much needed increase to the base compensation rate is the result of Koch Companies wanting to recognize employees for their hard work with increased freight demand and for enduring the conditions of the tough economy. Contractors will now receive $.93cpm per mile, up from $.91. Those with a current hazmat endorsement have the opportunity to see an increase of .02cpm. If not yet hazmat endorsed, contractors will be provided with the $.01 hazmat differential upon receipt of their endorsement.
Company drivers will receive a .02cpm increase to their base compensation rate if they hold a current hazmat endorsement. Those without the current endorsement will receive a .01cpm increase and will receive the .01cpm hazmat differential upon receipt of the endorsement. New company drivers have the opportunity to start with Koch at .34-.39cpm based on years of experience.
