Requirements
CDL-A req'd. Must pass physical, road test and drug screen. These take place during orientation. Marten Transport, Ltd. covers all associated costs. TWIC card and Passport preferred.

Company Driver Compensation (cents per mile)
Fair Pay Rates apply for all drivers at Marten Transport!  Now all drivers will get credit for prior experience and will be paid via a graduated pay scale, based on length of haul.

Pay Rates for Solos
Solo pay rate for company drivers with at least 1-year of driving experience is as follows:
Fair Pay sliding pay scale based on length of haul
Up to 5 years credit for prior experience
Annual pay increases Earn up to $.485!
Per diem pay package

Pay Rates for Teams
.41 to .48 cents per mile!
Up to 5 years credit for prior experience
Annual pay increases
Earn up to $.46!
Per diem pay package

CONTRACTOR SETTLEMENT PACKAGE Our Contractor settlement package has been designed to provide drivers with varying rates based on length of haul. The basic compensation plan is as follows:

» 1-150 miles -- 50% net revenue
» 151-400 miles -- $1.00 per mile
» 401-800 -- $.95 per mile
» 801-1,200 -- $.91 per mile
» 1,201-1,600 -- $.89 per mile
» More than 1,600 -- $.88 per mile
» Empty miles -- $.85 per mile
» Teams earn an additional $.03/mile
