Trucking Jobs with Roehl Transport,Inc.

Roehl Transport has limited openings in our Southeast Regional Van Fleet. Drivers living within 50 miles of I-95 from Savannah, Georgia to Jacksonville, Florida are eligible to apply; you need to have a Class A Commercial Driver’s License, but no experience is necessary.

 

These are tractor-trailer driving positions; we have training available through RDTC.

 

Regional fleet drivers are typically home weekly (within a 7 day period) for approximately 24 – 48 hours.

 

In your first year with Roehl as a Regional driver you can earn $33,000 to $42,000 (depending on your years of experience).

 

Roehl’s PMP (Practical Mileage Pay) can increase your annual income by thousands without driving more because we calculate mileage using Practical Miles instead of the old, standard HHG; Roehl pays you for more of the miles you actually drive. Roehl’s combination of mileage pay, quarterly safety and performance bonuses, and annual mileage bonuses add up to a total compensation plan.

Job Requirements

 

    * Per Department of Transportation regulations you must be at least 21 years of age.

    * Possess a Commercial Driver’s License Class A with hazardous materials endorsement (hazmat).

    * Fewer than 3 citations in the last 3 years; Speeding over 20 MPH will not be considered for 36 months.

    * No DUI or any other alcohol/controlled substance related offenses in the last 5 years (in any vehicle); no more than 1/lifetime.

    * Serious Traffic Violations such as following too close, reckless driving or failure to stop for an emergency vehicle will be reviewed.

    * No felonies in the past 7 years, older offenses and all criminal convictions will be reviewed

    * Pass an on-site physical skills evaluation of essential job functions.

    * Possess a valid passport, passport card or FAST (Free And Secure Trade) Card.
